rules
Green Bikes is available to anyone in our community that would like to use the bike. There are rules that apply to the bikes. Please review the rules below and let us know if you have any questions! Thank you!
- All riders must wear a helmet while they are riding. Riders take all responsibility for injuries they sustain on any of the Green Bikes
- If a Green Bike is damaged, please report the damage and the location of the bike to damage@greenbikes.org
- The Green Bikes must stay with in the map boundaries. Please review the map.
- You MAY NOT lock the bikes up. If any bike is found locked, please contact info@greenbikes.org
- If you see a bike you may use it, but the bike must remain outside when you are finished. The bikes are not allowed indoors
- The Green Bikes are not to be used by unsupervised children under the age of 16. All younger children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older.
- The Green Bikes are off-limits if you are intoxicated. If you are found riding a bicycle under the influence of drugs and or alcohol, you may be arrested for public drunkeness.
- The bikes are not allowed on the highway.
- It is illegal to ride the bikes on sidewalks. Ride the bikes on the street with traffic (not against it).
If you see anyone violating the rules, please contact us and report the incident. The Green Bikes is successful because the community adheres to the rules and rides safely.
