GreenBikes provides free bikes throughout the local community to limit the use of cars, buses and shoe leather. The bikes are available throughout the downtown Orlando area and can be left at your destination. When you need another bike, just pick up any bike that you see. The bikes are limited to the downtown area. Please click on the map tab to see where the bikes are limited to.
This program is made possible by the City of Orlando, the generous donations from our sponsors and patrons, and by the people that donate old bikes to the community.
Please join us during May for Bike to Work month. Ditch the lousy car and grab a green bike!
If you are interested in Orlando's Green Bike Program get involved. The Green Bike Program provides free bikes to the community, but also teaches bike safety, safe riding practices and provides bicycles to the less fortunate. Your monetery donation or donation of an old bicycle will provide many opportunities to our ever growing community!
The Green Bike program is celebrating it's eighth year in existance. We would like to thank or sponsors and the community for your help. As an anniversary present and to support our Green Transportation effort, Trek has agreed to donate 50 brand new bikes to the Green Bike Project.
Green Bikes was awarded the Community Service Excellence award for the year of 2007 by the Orange County government. We would like to continue helping the community and environment!
